We welcome students from age 4 onwards. Piano and violin work well from an early age because small hands can adapt quickly. Guitar is usually more comfortable starting around age 6–7, once fingers have built up enough strength. That said, there's no upper limit; we have adult students who picked up their first instrument in their 50s and absolutely love it.
Absolutely. We offer a 30-minute trial lesson for all instruments. It's a great way for your child to meet the teacher, get comfortable in the space, and for us to understand their current level and goals. Just get in touch to book your spot.
You'll need an instrument at home to practice between lessons, but you don't need to rush out and buy one. We offer affordable monthly rentals, and your teacher will guide you toward the right instrument for your budget and goals. For the first lesson, you're welcome to use ours.
Most of our programs are one-on-one private lessons so that the teacher can adapt the pace, repertoire, and style entirely to you. We also run group ukulele classes, which are a fun option for younger kids who enjoy learning alongside friends.
Our teachers are trained to mix technique with songs kids actually want to play, not just scales and classical pieces. If a student is into pop, video game music, or a favourite movie soundtrack, we work that into the lesson plan. Engagement comes from relevance, and we take that seriously.
Yes, we offer structured preparation for RCM Levels 1 through 10. Our teachers align lesson plans with the RCM syllabus and exam calendar, covering repertoire, technical requirements, ear training, and sight reading. Dedicated exam-prep packages are available in blocks of four sessions.
